The Block option on SocioMee is designed to give users a way to protect themselves from other users who may be harassing or otherwise bothering them. It is an important tool for creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.
When You Choose to Block a User
When you choose to block a user, you are preventing that user from sending you any messages, posts, or friend requests. The blocked user will also no longer be able to see your profile, posts, or messages.
Categories of Blocking
When blocking a user, you have the option to choose from several categories of blocking. These categories include but are not limited to:
- Harassment: If a user is sending you harassing messages or posts, you can choose to block them.
- Spam: If a user is sending you spam messages or posts, you can choose to block them.
- Unwanted Contact: If a user is sending you unwanted messages or posts, you can choose to block them.
- Unsolicited Offers: If a user is sending you unsolicited offers, you can choose to block them.
- Other: If a user is sending you messages or posts that do not fit into the other categories, you can choose the “other” option to block them.
Important Note
It is important to note that blocking a user is a serious decision and should not be taken lightly. Once you block a user, they will no longer be able to contact you in any way. If you have any doubts or questions about blocking a user, you should contact SocioMee Support before taking action.
